30hrs Famine!

i'm finally back! felt like its so long... coz when u are suffering time passes so slow hahaha! When the famine starts at 2pm yesterday i was like so excited! I'm gonna make it 30hrs! When its like 7hrs... my stomach can't take it start rumbling liao hahahaha! Then wa i tell u my mind keep on thinking of my chocolates, food WA! Then the next day was even worse when we do such physical stuffs like collecting newspapers! Tough job... elaborated further below haha!

First Day! got a few sharing talks on Poverty and AIDS! Very informative and heard lots of sad stories... i felt so hopeless that i cant do much help financially... cant be there in that country at that moment to offer help but at least i have the heart and i can do something in Singapore! Then got a poor little boy from Cambodia came to Singapore to do sharing which made people cried cause its like so sad his life... mother and him abused by father (drink addict) and both mum and him collect Rubbish earning only $1 a day to live... my gosh... it's like so poor thing... and wats the cruel fact? There are millions out there having the same fate as him or even worse... yet what are we living on? 3-5meals a day, clean water, wan chocs got chocs (guilty haiz...) then transportation good etc... wa we are really blessed to be born in a developed country!

We also played a ROLE Play game where first all 1000 of us separated into 8 developing countries, for me i'm in Lesotho (Africa)! Then we choose 4 Ministers of diffrerent department like Food & Water, Manpower, Health and Education! Also one President! Then besides the government the rest of the country is split into families! I'm one of the family head and my family is the most enthu! Wa super efficient and effective and fun hahahaha! We experienced a stiumlated version of poverty that we have only each $2 to start, and we have to run around Republic Poly to find jobs, get education especially for my kids and get water and food, vaccination! Lots of Objectives to fulfil! Then total my family 9 members including me and we ran around, tempted to do Illegal Jobs offered like Prostitution, Drug Trafficking and Organ Donating or go get education to do decent jobs like Fishing, Farming etc haha! Of course it pays more for illegal jobs so we too despo one sell organ, a few do drug trafficking but NO Prostitution la! Got Integrity k! hahaha! Then we family so united! We work hard, then go vaccination together, a 6 ganna AIDS hahahaha! One blind somemore! Then i the father have to get them cured, etc etc hahaha! Then we are the group which get the most number of water! That is the crucial thing other than education! Then in the end among 8 countries, 2 countries won which one is Lesotho! Yeah! Haha! Then we got a prize: Vitasoy Chocolate (Cant give us food so drink as prize but we despo and hungry till enjoy it damn a lot haha).

Then the next day highlight is Newspaper collection! haha! We are sent to Tampines Avenue 7! Then we are told to do 5 blocks as 3 families (including mine!) We collect and crap and laugh and smell lunch from the apartment we went (torturing...)! Then when we finish the 5 blocks good news is we finish liao! Bad news... 8 more to go! Wa we almost died hahaha! But its so fun doing that as my group really enthu and wa so fun! Cooperative man! So fun!

Finally after concert we countdown, everyone so excited! Then we count down 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0! Wa we screamed like siao! haha! 30hrs of hunger eh! For me its like wa tell u a challenge man... haha! But my family so bonded and enthu that we went Pepper Lunch together! Haha! Coz 1 days plus only the camp so a lot other families nber go out jus bye bye haha! My group got ACJC, SAJC, RP and AJC people! got to know their school! Which is obvious more rah rah and hoo hah compared to our school... haha! Those wanna know i can share lots of stuffs! hours and hours of crap and stuff to u guys we chatted all in jus one day plus! Really la we keep talkin talking lots of funny stuffs! Get to hear from me soon live! hahaha!

Last thing is so embarassing... i was interviewed by Mediacorp! Appearing on tonight news on Channel U and 8! Even Channelnewsasia which i dunno when... worse... tml 7am i think and 5.15pm i also on a Radio interview (recorded during the camp today) on 958FM! Wa... tell u i spoke in mandarin okay for the channel u and 8 and 958FM... and eng for cna... WA! really sia sue liao... i never bathe at all thru out the camp la... nber comb hair also... wa then appear on tv... hahaha!
